Together we create customized
affordable housing solutions drawing on the talents, ingenuity and commitments

Oak
Grove Children's Center
This
on-site day care was founded by the congregation to provide a needed service
in the community. It provides quality day care to children ages 6 weeks
to kindergarten. Call the church office to inquire about openings.
VEAP
VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) is
a human services agency helping residents of Richfield, Bloomington, Edina
and a portion of Minneapolis with food, transportation, energy assistance,
school supplies and a holiday toy drive. Donations of cash, food or time
are always welcome. Volunteers are needed at the Bloomington office, as
drivers and for special fund raising events. For more information, visit

Loaves
& Fishes
The ministry provides nutritious meals to the hungry
in an atmosphere of hospitality in locations around the metro area. Oak
Grove members volunteer the first Friday of every month. For more information,

Meals
on Wheels
Richfield Meals on Wheels delivers hot, nutritious
meals Monday through Friday at lunch time to people who are homebound,
elderly or disabled and unable to prepare their own meals. In 2001, 11,750
meals were served in the Richfield program. Volunteer drivers are always

Our
Saviour's Shelter
The
Shelter at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in south Minneapolis provides
shelter, meals and other help to qualifying homeless men, women and children.
Oak Grove volunteers go the 3rd Saturday of each month to serve the evening
meal.
Angel
Tree
Through
the Angel Tree, sponsored by Prison Fellowship ministries, Oak Grove members
help families of prisoners by giving Christmas gifts to their children.
Volunteers are always needed to purchase gifts, deliver gifts, and to
share the gospel. There are also opportunities to plan and participate
in a party for the children.
Wheels
to Work
Through
this Community Auto Repair and Redistribution, Oak Grove members support
this local non-profit corporation that provides reliable automobiles to
needy persons in the Twin Cities area.
Chinese
Hospitality Center
Located
on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota, this center helps
students from China adjust to life in the United States. Oak Grove members
with a passion for hospitality and witness are invited to spend time or

Equal
Exchange
A
fair trade organization, Equal Exchange enables socially conscious consumers
across North America to support fair trade practices in other countries
by purchasing coffee, tea and organic hot cocoa mix. Order forms are available
